Alinda Kring shares how she has taken what she learned at the King’s Business School and in the Entrepreneurs Society and combined it with her passion for art.

Strokes of inspiration at King’s

‘Starting Alinda Kring Art Advisory has been an exhilarating journey, fuelled by my passion for art and fortified by my academic background in Business Management from King's. This journey has seen the business grow from a fledgling idea into a respected name in the art world.

‘My education at King's and my involvement with the Entrepreneurs Society provided me with a robust foundation in business principles, strategic thinking, and leadership skills. All of which have been instrumental in navigating the complexities of the art market.'

Creative collaborations

‘Over the years, Alinda Kring Art Advisory has grown a lot, thanks to our dedication to helping our clients build and curate their collections with a sharp eye for quality. We have faced our share of challenges, but each obstacle has been a learning opportunity and made us better and more committed to what we do.

‘Recently, I’ve teamed up with well-known restaurants and hotels as their art curator, which is a thrilling new chapter for us. This lets me mix my passion for art with my business savvy in a fresh and exciting way. At these hotels and restaurants, I get to put together a collection that showcases both modern trends and timeless pieces, adding to the cultural experience for their clients. This collaboration is a big step forward for Alinda Kring Art Advisory and shows just how far we’ve come.'

Words of wisdom for fellow women entrepreneurs

‘To all the women entrepreneurs out there, my advice is to never give up on your dreams, even when things get tough. The entrepreneurial journey is a rollercoaster, but with persistence and passion, you can overcome the hurdles. Surround yourself with a strong support system, stay true to your vision, and be open to learning and evolving. It might be challenging, but the satisfaction of making a difference and achieving your goals is worth it.

‘I am immensely grateful to King's for the exceptional education and support that have been pivotal in my journey. The lessons learned and the connections made during my time at King's have been invaluable in shaping my career and helping me navigate the business world with confidence. A big thank you goes to the King’s community as well as my family and friends for helping me pursue my passion and encouraging me to innovate and succeed!’
