We are deeply saddened to share the news of the death of Jerrold Alexander who died on Friday 19 January.

Study success

Jerrold Alexander, or Jerry as he was known to his friends, qualified with a bachelor's degree in Dental Surgery in 1961 and Licentiate in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in November 1961.

He then went on to qualify for a Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons as a general practitioner.

Enthusiastic founder

As an enthusiastic member of the London Dental Study Club for many years, he was a founding member of the London Dental Fellowship and was also on the committee responsible for its foundation.  This still exists as a thriving group, which meets in the Saville Club.

Our thoughts are with his wife, family and friends.

Details of this obituary have been provided by Jerrold's wife, Susie, and his friend, Bill Long.
